Nelson Mandela , the greatest ever African !

Feel free to talk about anything that you want.

He was imprisoned because he was a terrorist. The ANC and its military wing Mkonto isiswe were terrorist. When you have had a bomb go off next to you and seen the carnage and bloodshed first hand, then you have earned the right to comment. When you have seen someone burned alive for opposing the movement, then you have earned the right to comment. If youre going to quote history, then look into the whole thing, not just whats convenient to your argument

Why is respecting the greatest African ever be convenient to my argument. !! Besides what did you expect the people of South Africa to do . Carry on being exploited ridiculed , kept as slaves to the Afrikaners and enjoy apartheid ? So you are suggesting that the only time I or anyone else has the right to comment is when a bomb goes off next to me ! Wouldn't I be dead then ? Mate what DID you have for breakfast !!

May I know which history books on South Africa you recommend I read !

Maltiades i think you need to learn the definition of a slave. No where in SA did i ever see a black man or woman chained and forced to work for no money. They were paid a minimum wage defined by government (which is a lot more than can be said for the sri lankan and filippino maids in cyprus)
If it was a struggle for freedom against aparthied why were more black killed by blacks in the 43 years of aparthied. I think you need to educate yourself on the subject before speaking shit

This thread is about one man , the greatest African ever. It is not about the merits of independence , how much the blacks werepaid or how many blacks were killed by blacks. THE MAN came out of prison having served 19 years , He does not seek revenge He seeks reconciliation He leads his people into a peaceful transition from apartheid to democracy , this is why HE is the greatest .
I asked what you ate for breakfast , the only response was shit !!

Your suspicions are suspect. Perhaps you ought to have expanded more on the great man in the first place. Then, my remark would need no 'elucidation'.
:?
Thank you
