Does anyone know the salary for teachers in Cyprus? I'm interested in both Cypriot public school and private English/American schools.

about 750-800 cyp a month for a teacher in a primary school,during the first year of teaching

I think for middle and high school it is an equivalent to about 2000 US dollars a month but im not sure if this is before or after taxes.

Either way it is a surprisingly good amount considering thats about the same price teachers get paid in NY with only the expenses being much higher.
