GG

Not teasing, this is purely for fun, life is far to short to be unhappy all the time.

Just trying to spread a bit of sunshine.

REVEAL YOURSELF AT ONCE YOU IMPOSTER

 Imposter? Moi? Not so! I only mentioned that because it happens to be my favourite Dickens novel too (or maybe Oliver Twist as I didn't like Pip very much on the whole).

Magnus,

I do hope that your Avatar does not reflect your personality, it looks a little sinister to me. :|

No, I just can't get the Admin to upload the one I want and this is one of the few that aren't in use. I like to be able to spot my posts so I can carry on reading from where I last was.

Hello everyone,
You have all been keeping me interested, educated and amused for a couple of years now, so I will dip my toe in the water on a 'neutral' thread with a list of those I would love to talk to:

Nelson Mandela
Archbishop Makarios
Luigi Tenco (wonderful Italian songwriter/singer - dead now)
Melina Mercouri
Oriana Fallaci
ZORBA
Billy Conolly
and from the forum
BirKiBrisli
Miltiades
Tess
Kikapu
Deniz
Lana

Well, thats more like a state Banquet, but it would be great fun I think.
And Cypriot food and music and sun. We had snow here earlier this week.

Welcome to the forum Perdike, hope you will continue to post.

Hello friends,
Its quite exciting to get replies from 'names' I know a tiny bit from eavesdropping over the last few years. So thank you. I am not a gentleman, and I'm not sure I'm a 'lady', but I am most certainly a woman and I have two nearly grown-up half-greek cypriot children.
And I have a HUGE respect, love and empathy for Cyprus and Cypriots.

Hello Perdike, and welcome.
I don't suppose you have any news on our good friend Aidan ? He seems to be rather outspoken in your neck of the woods.
