All done now - one 'clean vaccinated' kitten!

The injection must be taking its toll as she is asleep on my shoulders! Wouldn't mind if it was winter!

Remember my post about the cat on my shoulders bubbles ~ just don't make any quick moves

Mind you its only a kitten ~ wait til it becomes a monster with huge paws and long claws

 Never! She is a very good kitty - and she will remain that way I am sure! I hope![/quot

Don't be too sure. Our adorable he-kitty morphed into a she-kitty with a whole court of suitors harangue-ing the house every night

Thirty years ago I bought a kitten from the local pet shop. It was so playful. It loved surprising you. It loved sleeping on the 'head-rest' of the armchair. I would walk into the room and he (Macky - after Makarios) would jump on to my shoulder. One day we had a mini heat wave. Very slow traffic, sweating like Niagara falls. I eventually arrived home and went straight to the shower. I entered the lounge in my birthday suit, where Macky as usual perched on his (mine really) armchair vantage point leaped on to my naked shoulder. The poor thing was not able to get a good grip on my naked wet body and I still have the claw marks running all the way down from my shoulders to my rear end.

For his efforts my then wife anded up with him as part of the divorce settlement.

This kitty will be 'done' in approximately 4 months time - watch this space! No overly ardent suitors around here that is for sure!

Do folk not sleep much in NZ then? :?
