All done now - one 'clean vaccinated' kitten!

The injection must be taking its toll as she is asleep on my shoulders! Wouldn't mind if it was winter!

Remember my post about the cat on my shoulders bubbles ~ just don't make any quick moves

Mind you its only a kitten ~ wait til it becomes a monster with huge paws and long claws

I keep Ducks and hens for eggs, as you know we are way into the countryside, my biggest worry is foxes getting into hen barn and getting at my birds.

Also the youngest cat Oliver ( also affectionately known as " Lard Arse") is not as sharp witted as the other two fellas.

I know, and then they just cannot understand why you do not despatch them and eat their lovingly caught gift straight away.

It is there way of taking you out to dinner, bless `em ,

I am lucky living where I am , the only serious dander to mine are foxes.

we live at the end of a country lane, single track, and it finishes at our gate, the oly vehicles that go down our Lane is the POstman, and the farmer who owns the cows on the bottom field.

Our foxes feed next to our cats - 3-4 feet away. The cats sit and watch them eat out leftovers.. Thankfully they know there place , so do not attack the cats. Perhaps the trick is to keep the foxes tummies full.

This may sound a daft question are your foxes pets ?

The mind boggles at your 'pets'
Great stories though thanks.

When we lived in Cyprus, our neighbour kept chickens, Dolly our black and white cat, now since died of old age, used to chase birds, well she had never seen a rooster before, Imagine the sight of a black and white cat coming flying up the garden with the rooster in hot pursuit, what tickeled me was she jumpted through the cat flap and up onto the window ledge, looked out of the window and them at me, as if to say " My God the have big sparrows here" LOL .....................................
