The 12th International Gazimagusa(Famagusta) Culture and Arts Festival kicked off on Monday night with a concert by the famous Turkish rock musician-Ozlem Tekin.

The Festival, which is organized by the Gazimagusa Municipality and brings world-famous artists and Cypriots together every year, took its start at the Namik Kemal Square.

Speaking at the opening of the Festival, the Mayor of Gazimagusa Oktay Kayalp reminded that, 7 years ago, they promised to increase the quality of the International Gazimagusa Culture and Arts Festival and now they are proud to see this come true.

This year’s Festival will be hosting Ernesto Radano, Eskici Dukkani, Los Vivancos, Bonnie Tyler, Mehmet Ali Sanlikol, Isin Karaca and Pink Martini.
The 12th International Gazimagusa Culture and Arts Festival will continue until 15th of July.
