I have my property on with 4 agents in Larnaca and i can assure you i am not asking way over the top for it even selling it fully furnished with plasma tv satelitte and all that kind of stuff it is quite worrying how quiet it is i am even prepared to rent it out but no luck on that side either, do you have a property here you are trying to sell

Well perhaps the boom is passing and the prices will settle enabling the locals to consider buying.

Anyone any idea what the average wage is now in cyprus. ? Not too long ago an income of 1000.00c.pounds per month enabled a family to live well.

That explains why all the locals i talk to are complaining about the size of their overdrafts.

yes because the banks here will normally give them an overdraught of 3 times their salary so if there is a joint income it is even worse, but then again if they did not have that facility how do they live, i have been here 3 years now and my salary is half of what i was earning in the UK but i just do not want to go back to UK but i sympathise with the locals.
