He means Turkish Nationalists. There is no such thing as TC Nationalists. TCs can be Cypriot Nationalists or Turkish Nationalists.

Since he has gone to bed, you can explain what is a 'Nationalist'? How much does it differ from a Patriot? Are TC Patriots and GC Patriots different from TC Nationalists and GC Nationalists?

The difference is that a patriot loves his own country but he doesn't want to harm others but a nationalist thinks that his country should screw everybody else.

...a Nationalist has an attachment to the land.

...a Patriot has an attachment to the State.

No. The correct definition is partitionist wanting annexation of the "TRNC" with Turkey. The rest is blah blah. Capish?

Thnx. I will ponder over that.

I think 'land' and 'state' should interchange.

Need more pondering.

Goodnight

Birk
This proves it for me....We can't live with each other, but we can't live without each other either...We are unique..We are Cypriots....We are doomed...

Hey Birk, firstly don't loose hope we are NOT doomed. Secondly good to see you back. If there is one thing I admire about you is that unlike me who looses their temper easily and gets sucked into the hooks of others ... you have maintained your integrity for the past couple of years since I met you on this forum.

Please don't loose faith otherwise we have led them to a win.

she'll be right mate :)

Hi Bir , I'm sure that Paphitis by inviting Turkish Nationalists is fired up by the demise of his idols and he is itching to prove to them that he is more than capable of maintaining the hatred , having undergone a change of sex , he now wants to be the Holy Father !!!
Is it not revealing that the two of us have never argued on the Cyprus problem because we have always agreed at the need to show empathy , respect and understanding of each sides concerns and have ditched the motherland restraints focusing on our island that we both equally love and adore !!
I recall the feeling I experienced visiting your village of birth , a few miles from my own and understanding even more how similar we all are , seing what must have been a beautiful village in ruins brought tears to my eyes , sentimental old fool , yes I'm !

Exactly, dear miltiades...We are the True Cypriots...We look back and say "how could we have done this to our beloved homeland"...We have let foreign interests divide and rule us...We were not smart enough to cooperate, unite as one people, hence we brought pain and suffering to our country and our own people...Others look back and say "it was all the TCs/GCs fault, they are the enemy,we must go to war again/keep the Turkish troops, to right all the wrongs....If we could just say "lets keep talking and talking till we all realise why we are in this predicament and who the real culprits are...Till we realise we must put our Cypriotness above all else and cooperate in uniting our Cyprus... :( :(
