gr to tr translation please

Can anyone tell me the trC translation of the grC word "panagiri" please. Is there an equivalent word ?

(That's the village festvals that happen annually in most Cy villages and towns.)

''PANAYIR'' and it means the same in Turkish :wink:

It is one of hundreds of Greek words used in Turkish too... and both people are very good at Panigiria :lol:
