But don't forget: TV is dead! :P

;)

actualy what I mean (as far as I was being serious) is that braodcast TV model is dead - where a tiny set of people decide what I will watch and when I wil watch it. Video content is not dead but I can get the video content I want, when I want it these days. I am not at the 'mercy' of a scheduler.

Piratis,

I wouldn’t say the above, judging from the fact that Pafos greater area (suburbs and surrounding villages included,) is no more than 70,000 (including all the foreign residents and pontian Greeks,) and already has two local TV stations and at least 4 radio stations. If I am correct, already there are 2-3 local TV stations in the north, besides many mainland Turkish ones.

Surely you mean 'psudeo' TV sations and radio stations? ;)

There is the state run TV that operates BRT1 and BRT2 (BRT3?). There are also private run TRNC based TV stations like Kibris, Genc TV and others. There are many radio stations as well. Actually my cousin has a licesense here for such a radio station but has trouble using it because radio waves show little reagrd for borders or psudoe borders and interferance from RoC stations who have been given the a licsense for the same frequency range are a continual problem.

Sure, go ahead! Radio-wave equality, now... Next you guys will be asking for air-breathing equality!

P.S.: I am only joking. Let me know which stations are causing the problem and I'll get some of them boys who 'were there' on July 15, 1974 who turned good to bomb 'em to hell.
Gotta make amends!

I was talking about the 60's, not today.

Do you think that TCs in the 60's could afford by themselves to have a TV station? Personally I doubt, but as I said this could be an easy solution. State TV is not something required in a country.

Should it make you happier, then you can go ahead and call them pseudo TV stations.

The other night I had a fantastic pseudo meal in a pseudo restaurant called Moyra and the proprietor, Mr Erhan, assured me that despite eating too much I would't get a pseudo stomach ache.

Isn't it about time we showed some respect for each other? How can we be striving for a solution and at the same time show so much disrespect? When Costas Themistocleous called for an end to this unproductive name calling, the super patriots on our side jumped on him like vultures. His argument was to refer to the administration in the north illegal and stop using all the other adjectives which are extremely repelling and simply throw us into the arms of nationalists who want to maintain the divisive barriers.

Oh yes Piratis, he is minority, but remember, the majority called for the crucifiction of Christ rather than Barrabas. As you know, he had no problem, after all he was God. What about our resirection? We will, it seems, need more than a miracle now, since we have elected the greatest nationalist to be our President.

Bananiot, how can a pseudo man possibly suffer from a stomach ache, let alone a pseudo one?

Thank you Kifeas, very polite of you, spoken like a true barbarian ancestor of a Spartan who happened to learn Greek.
