You don't need breeze... it's all about physics.

Just spoke to my dad, he's got a/c on & he says it still unbearable! Hot Cyprus. What's the weather like in September?

In theory yes of course ... but again it is all relative!

The sea is warmer in September, days are shorter etc ... all the usual meteorological phenomena for this temperate Mediterranean Clime (..... being at precisely the right distance from the Equator and the Tropics  ).

We have to have the aircon on for 10 minutes before bedtime. We had it on a lot last summer and I won't even tell you what our electric bill was, you'd never believe it. A lesson learnt!

Even the 'wind tunnel' effect doesn't do enough when it's hot and no breeze - despite the 'physics'. We need the extra boost of aircon to cool the rooms down.

Even with the aircon the room is still warm... or might I say hot? I feel like I'm the cause to this.. it annoys me now
