Passports of the CyR were forbidden

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Passports of the CyR were forbidden

Postby RAFAELLA » Thu Jun 19, 2008 3:50 pm

The occupation regime forbids “policemen” to use the passports and identity cards of the Republic of Cyprus for traveling
Under the title “The passports of the Republic of Cyprus were forbidden”, Turkish Cypriot daily Afrika newspaper (19.06.08 ) reports in its first page that the use of passports and identity cards of the Republic of Cyprus by “police employees” was forbidden with orders of the “General Director” of the self-styled police, Gunay Ozan.

The reason for this decision is that the use of the passport and identify card for traveling by the members of the “police”, affects negatively the prestige of the “police organization” and the “security of the policemen”. In the same way that the “police employees” cannot use these documents to travel from the airports and ports of the Republic of Cyprus they should not use them for other trips abroad.

Well since they are not real policemen, merely pseudo-police, then it's just as well they don't bring into disrepute the RoC.

After all it would be more worrying if they carried out their criminal impersonations of Cypriot policemen whilst under the banner of the RoC.

Isn't impersonating a policeman a criminal offence anyway?

Gosh there are a lot of criminal activities going on up there.

I wonder if some of our real policemen can arrest them? :?

Policemen in the "trnc" are the ultimate oxymoron.

They must be the only policemen in the whole world paid and employed, to make sure thieves and criminals keep hold of all they have stolen.

There isn't a prison in the Occupied Areas big enough to hold Mr. Donktosh.

Quite an interesting statement bill cobbett since :- as the TRNC is an illegal state and is home to so many 'Criminals', surely the entire area is worthy of being referred to as a 'Prison' and is therefore large enough to accommodate the likes of Denktash and his cronies.

The fact that there are so many troops there, surely lends weight to the assumption that it is in fact a 'Military Prison' and that the 'inmates' are actually worse off than those (of similar description) who are serving hard time in 'Wormwood Scrubs'.

Worth considering don't you think ?.
