Soyer accuses teachers' union of racism

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Fifty thousand is being touted as a possible figure..... well then let us see how the TC will react when some of these 50 000 settlers demand a place in the state or federal civil service.

If the GC attitude towards the possibility of mainland Greeks taking civil service positions is anything to go by, then we have a HUGE problem. No TC will accept this competition for plum jobs from people he regards as foreigners. And if the settlers are excluded from the plum jobs then resentment will be endemic.

Repulse, 30% is only the ratio of brain that is represented in your head! You added up and calculated all the illegal settlers from Turkey, in order to tell us that the TCs have all of suddenly become 30%, from the 18% they were in 1960 and 1974? You already legalized all the settlers, and now accepted that the TCs are the 30%, Allah mustahakini versin?

...no Kifeas

i am describing the logic that Denktash may have used in this game of tit for tat.

Victims re, all I see is victims, Cypriots, and that for Turkey, in regards to Cyprus, nothing is different, (now for about 100 (150) years).

Today's Yeni Düzen newspaper reports that the headmaster of Bayraktar Middle School is refusing to register children from Alayköy (Gerolakkos) as students at his school, even though this village falls within the catchment area. The parents are complaining that this is because they are from mainland Turkey.

A huge storm appears to brewing over this issue now that the Turkish Cypriot teachers' union has shown that Turkish Cypriot students have become a minority in their own schools.
