Mankind ?, the word itself describes the collective group of a certain species Man/Woman.

Since groups usually have common interests and should therefore look forward to closer contact, it seems strange that we should be concerned about the end of mankind.

Looking back over the past, I wonder if such a group (mankind) ever existed in the first place.

I think the "Amerikaniko Daktilo" will have to be surgically removed from your but so that you can take aim and fire. You will then be doing your bit to protect the world from this impending impact and disaster. Plonker.

I have said it many times. You need to grow a spine and a personality, instead of just going through life in a brain washed state and not forming your own subjective opinions as opposed to being a robot or clone for all your life.

Precisely what do you know about me General that spurns you to throw so much crap at me !! I'm a 62 year old Cypriot who believes in continuing with the political negotiations currently taking place in order that a peaceful solution may be found and implemented for the benefit of all Cypriots. You on the other hand believe , along with Rambo , that all negotiations are a waste of time and that war is the only option left.
Do you consider that you have more resilient "Spine" than I have because you are a "paper" tiger !!!

It is you that needs to obtain some flexibility and accepting other people's viewpoint even though they may differ to your own. After all, we are not all American/Israeli clones such as your self.

miltiades, if you don't mind me saying so, one could easily agree with some of the negative points Paphitis has raised in characterizing you, (perhaps a little more kindly may have been appropriate considering your age and the respect it should be given).

In my own view, I have noticed that you are at all times quite adamant in supporting whatever negotiations or actions the West either suggests or participates in.

Such an outlook cannot be constructive since it is an indication of 'Blind Faith' and complete lack of personal judgement and opinion.

If one relies on the statements and exhortations of politicians, (particularly when they have been exposed as 'Liars' severally in recent times) one can hardly be surprised to receive such appraisals the like of which Paphitis has endowed upon you.

There is little point in constantly repeating the words and highlighting the deeds of those that have been proven wrong, surely a little consideration should be given to the fact that the entire civilized world is frowning upon recent political events.

I honestly feel that you have allowed yourself to be so influenced by the 'Weasel Words' of those who are in power, that you have destroyed your own capacity to draw logical conclusions amid the obvious misdemeanours perpetrated by those that are supposed to represent us all.

Perhaps you feel comfortable assuming that you are on the winning side ?, I fear you may be in for something of a shock when 'TRUTH' finally reveals itself to us all.

No disrespect intended to you personally miltiades, just an observation based on the majority of your past posts.

As to the destruction of mankind, I think the West are doing a very good job currently.

As to my perception as to what a solution I envisage , my position is well known on this forum , let me just state it again.
I opposed the AP because it fell way short of what it was set out to achieve ie the unification of our island . I strongly objected to the guarantor powers offered to Turkey over the whole of Cyprus. I opposed the flying of the Greek flag and Turkish flag on Cyprus's Police stations since that meant Greece and Turkey were the masters of Cyprus and not the Cypriot people.
I support our government's efforts in maintaining the current embargoes in place and in steadfastly refusing to accommodate any act, apart from humanitarian ones , that would in some way bestow even the slightest amount of acceptance and recognition of the "TRNC"
I CONSIDER THAT THE T/C PEOPLE HAVE AS MUCH RIGHT TO BE IN CYPRUS AND TO CLAIM IT THEIR OWN AS WE THE G/Cs HAVE . THOSE WHOSE ALLEGIANCE IS TO EITHER GREECE OR TURKEY HAVE NO SUCH RIGHT !!
