Halil,

You all look like "out of work lay abouts".

No seriously, you all look great, enjoying your break from your courses no doubt.!

Thanks Halil for posting Talat's Palace for me, which I asked for 2-3 months ago. It's a little bit fancier than I envisioned at that time, which was this.

Not a bad looking Palace.

When was it built Halil, and on whose land exactly.?

Last thing Talat needs is people coming around claiming the Palace is built on their land soon after he signs the peace treaty.!!

kikapu,
you will never change . you see you know nothing about our history and you have no idea about old Nicosia . Do you know where was the Bedevi pastanesi at Nicosia . This is home work for you ..... your clue is Bedevi pastanesi next to girne kapısı (Kyreania gate ) .... see how far you can go .....

Halil, I'm just having fun with you..........chill out.

OK Halil, I accept the mission to find out more about "Bedevi Pastenesi".!!

Give me a break Halil, I was 9 years old when I left Cyprus. But I do know about old Nicosia (I think), because my uncle had a carpenter shop within the city walls which I spent a lot of time there as a kid, and also lived in the shop for few months after we were released from captivity in 1963. There were mostly TC shops and businesses there, including a covered food market (bazaar) near by, as well as a mosque and a Hamam. Are all these places anywhere near "Bedevi Pastenesi".??

Just exactly what things I'm I talking with "others mouth" Halil.

There's more to Cyprus problems than just knowing or not knowing about "Bedevi Pastenesi".!!

Thanks for the link all the same, which I will read soon.

What he means that you depend on second hand information to form an opinion, you have no personal experience of the TRNC or its people.

I know Kikapu Cyprus problem is more important than Bedevi pastanesi .
But have a look your words at above .
aren't you misdirecting the peoples about president palace location .
may be you have noticed my strong objections in this forum that TC's has got their own lands at north .

Palace(building) was there before 74 . İt was not used as a presential palace during those times .

I am sure you also know between 63-74 we were rulling ourself by Cemaat Meclisi . İf you don't know ask and learn from your family members .
Don't tell me that you don't know where is the Kyreania Gate .
Cumhurbaşkanlığı Sarayı is built up next to gate . İt is on the nicosia walls .Land was Mutallip family . it's been enteignened from them.

Image what do you see Kikapu

Doesn't the whole world depend on "second hand" information to know about anything and everything that there is to know in the World and far beyond into the Universe. The important thing is to seperate the shit from the honey and don't fall victim to ones misinformation, just to serve their own hidden agendas. That's why god has given us a brain to do just that, which I try to make good use of it at all times. Call it the 6th sense if you like. No one person has monopoly on knowledge on everything as "first hand" information. Our own personal experiences are only minute part of our own existence, which we then share it with others, which then gets passed along. In other words VP, you do not have monopoly on information on everything that goes on in the "trnc", except perhaps in your own household. I even doubt that.!!

No man is an island.!
