EU Changed Green Line trading regulations. No custom fees

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Let's be slightly more objective. I visit Trodoos Square from time to time and frequently see Turkish Cypriot families there. Guess what. They open the boots of their cars and take out picnics, which they consume in the areas provided for their purpose. Not a eurocent do they spend while in the free areas. The same mentality prevails on both sides. The good thing is that at least people are travelling to the other side and coming into contact with their fellow Cypriots. It will take time for trust to build up.Actually, the last time I was in Arasta Street it was packed with Greek Cypriots shopping at Turkish Cypriot owned shops, but that is another story.

Excellent post .

In reality it's already happening but not so much in Cyprus ~~ I attended a Turkish wedding a couple of years ago and saw so many Greek Cypriots had been invited too~ more importantly they were enjoying each others company and a enjoyable evening was had by all.

Sadly it will take time ~ lets hope that eventually both GC's and TC's can co-exist together much the same as in London
