Brilliant! I 'Google' all the time - especially if I want more info on something someone may have posted! :)

I've certainly enjoyed the various shows on the sea front in Larnaca I've been down there most nights ~ except last night ( just in case my friend accuses me of being a liar ) and will probably be going again tonight.

Pity I missed last night as the fire works were very spectacular but to be honest I had a better view from my home without the problem of being pushed and jostled

Sunday night was a singer called Costa's ~ very good and had all the young girls and older women almost throwing their knickers on the stage ~ eat your heart out Tom Jones  .

It's mostly dancing tonight and the house monster hasn't decided whether she wants to go yet so I may go alone for a couple of hours.

I always smile at Brit expats who complain that there's nothing to do in Cyprus ~ I've attended more cultural events since being here than I ever did in the UK and the best thing they are mostly free

Bill ~~~ almost flooding with happiness

There has been a variety of entertainment down in Limassol too this weekend. Alas, with being poorly I did not attend any! There is always next year though :)

Too young to be a Tom Jones fan, but I do like the sound of this Costas guy....

In the old days, for those who don’t know, kids would hide in the streets of towns and villages, and as soon as an adult would walk past or ride past on a bicycle, they’d drench the unsuspecting passer-by with buckets of water… ...that's what Kadaglismos was all about before and certainly not beach parties!

Thanks GR, I did not know that!

Alas, with times being as they are, money takes hold and everyone tends to jump on the bandwagon. I am all for advancement, but some traditions should be preserved IMHO!
