Anari sucks! Give me feta or/and halloumi any day.....
Leave Anari alone (I refer to the sun dried one). I miss it so much. You can only find the fresh stuff here.

The best cheese in the World for taste, character, ooommpphhh and bite has got to be Kefalotiri ..
Sorry it's not Cypriot .. but it has long been a favourite and now that I have tasted every cheese UK has to offer, France, Italy and most of the German and Dutch varieties ( two ) ... it is Number One on my list for possessing most of the qualities desirable in a cheese

I don't mind it melted into a pasta sauce, or small pieces with walnuts in pastry ....
But it's too rich. And I like cheese you can cut into chunks. In fact I really like that word ...... chunk!
Chunk of cheese ..... Mmmm!
What do you think of it?

I love 'chunks' of a good farmhouse cheddar or stilton, but Roquefort is not a 'chunky' cheese. Perhaps because of its high salt content. Its still my fav.

I used to love a Cherrywood Smoked Cheddar (from a Cheesemonger patronised by Charles and Camilla ... but I didn't let that put me off! ) .... which was just heavenly and you had to stop talking to savour it .... ... accompanied by black grapes Mmmmm!
