Knowing that I am inherently a racist helps me immensely in fighting my racist prejudices, so although, as the above reveals, I am a (self-confessed racist) my thoughts, actions and my interactions with others are not racist. Yes, sometimes this can be hard work but like all hard work it brings its rewards.
So my advice, for what it's worth and for those who want to take a blind bit of notice, is to accept you're a racist and to fight your inner wirings and we will all flourish in the ideal that all men are brothers (and all women are sisters etc)

bill dear, can we engage in a discussion about this line of thinking? ... I jumped to agreeing with that view once. However it needs reduction.
Given that Racism is viewing those unlike yourself as inferior... As such wrong, since it is a generalisation that serves no purpose other than to discriminate illogically.
The fatal flaw from an evolutionary point of view would be that it would make one fail to appreciate a stronger tribe or potential enemy ...
Racism as a trait would then have died out on the basis that such foolish thinking as viewing another tribe as
inferior does not prepare you to survive (through underestimating your enemy).
So I would argue that Racism is not an inherent Human trait, otherwise it should have gone extinct.
In its place, I would propose that it is
fear of the enemy or xenophobia that we still possess as a
survival trait. Thus acknowledging the potential threat from a foreign unknown tribe ... and being prepared!
Which is why today, with education, we need to temper this "intuition" ...
What do you think on this bill ?... or any other rational forumers prepared to discuss the issue and
not my personal qualities for daring to question a line of thinking which rocks their unstable colander boats
