Can someone give me an indication of roughly how much it costs to run a car in Cyprus? I am thinking of a small 4X4 doing about 16,000km/year, and would like two figures, one to include depreciation and the other to exclude it. But any info would help!

Petrol over here is just as bad, if not worse, than the UK.

Petrol in Cyprus 1.15 Euro a litre = Uk 95 pence
Petrol in UK per litre = UK £1.15

There is a marginal difference in price. The trouble is if you want to go somewhere you have little alternative but to get in a car. So using this logic, petrol seems more expensive in Cyprus. It's not, but then again, buses are not circulating as well, and lets to even mention trains.
