Seriously just admit you have no intention of giving up anything you illegally possess and all your words are merely to justify that, and like your other crimes, they do not have to take into consideration an ounce of truth or substance.

Join BirKibrisli in perpetuating the myth of the socially inept and civilization-handicapped Turk for all I care. But don't attribute those symptoms as being mere words of mine.

How about concentrating on defending your position to the actual post I made to you, before VP butted in to supposedly free you of the need for a proper exchange ...

I have a lot to say about how all this is going but I'll butt out for now and let you two carry on with your exchange.

Out of misfortune sometimes springs a positive result. We GCs were unfortunate to experience the hostility of both Greece and Turkey within a very short spae of time. The end result was a realisation that union with Greece was not a version of paradise on earth. Turkey's cynical invasion and division of the island forced a quick maturing of GC society and a realisation that the only helping hands we would get were those at the end of our arms.

TCs have yet to mature and assert their independence from their motherland. It is not an easy thing to do. All kinds of emotional blackmail are at work to stop them- the gratitude they are supposed to feel for being "saved" by the invasion, the fear they are supposed to feel at being swallowed up and made extinct by the GCs, etc.

One thing we GCs can do is to prove to the TCs , not simply reassure but prove, that being a Cypriot does not have to mean becoming a GC. We have not reached that level yet.
