You are one of the most eloquent and highly intelligent , if not the most , of forum members that have graced this Cyprus Forum , a forum that has a very respectable traffic worldwide at about the 300000 position , very impressive ranking with viewers coming from the following countries :

I post these figures to show that this forum is well viewed and I'm convinced that the viewers also hold you as an extremely well educated and highly eloquent contributor . In other words here we have a Cypriot who is not only able to articulate at the highest levels but also has the skill required to present a comprehensive analysis on most subjects.
Your intelligence and wit is known and respected by all on this forum , I'm firmly convinced of that. However your questionable and rather controversial at times views on the Cyprob leaves you vulnerable to attacks not only from the T/C side but from the G/C one too .
You come across as a "polemical" individual that sees only the T/Cs as responsible for our predicament , indeed having read most of your relative on this matter posts , I can say that you never once questioned the validity of at least some of the T/C claims in an objective fashion , you simply dismiss all claims of the wrongs that our side committed against our fellow Cypriots.
I understand your contention , but I also understand that your highly developed intellectual abilities could have been so constructive in building the required bridges to bring an end to our predicament instead of being at odds constantly with the T/Cs.
The T/Cs are here to stay .FACT ! The Turkish army is NOT ! Hope !
Negotiations are the ONLY way forward , a political war is being waged where it matters most right now , in the EU . We can not afford to give the impression that we consider WAR as the ONLY OPTION to bring an end the Turkish occupation of part of our island .
I ask now for you to consider as to how many T/Cs have you been able to interact with and mutually respect. None I think. Is this constructive or destructive , I ask you to consider. Our nation is currently engaged in negotiations to find a solution , we need mutual trust and understanding not polemics and not GRs mercenaries , and remember you supported those views.
Halil , a jovial family orientated Turkish Cypriot , presents HIS sides' story , he has never once been rude to anyone on this forum.I have met the man on 4 or 5 occasions , have gained his respect and he mine ,
Bir , have exchanged PMs , have gained his respect and he mine , just as with Bir , Kikapu , Iceman , Deniz Mr-from-NG all of whom I have met
and have gained their respect and they mine . I believe that my commitment to abstain from giving people bullshit has been understood and respected .None of the above agree with on everything , but all agree that we are all Cypriots and that Cyprus belongs to us all equally.
Show some understanding to them and they will reciprocate . The events of the early 60s were responsible for the events that followed.

In short Oracle try using your skills in building bridges of trust and you will see that only constructive events will follow.
Can I ask you O what image would you like to project to those viewers of the Cyprus Forum , one of intransigence and antipathy or one of conciliatory and forgiving.

Unlike you she has never expressed anti West sentiments , admiration for African despots , never demanded that we should show respect to the man who is currently starving his people to death , does not admire or support the Iranian goal of producing nuclear weapons , she clearly has never exhibited any signs of support for the savage killings that take place in Iraq perpetrated by the savages , as you have done by camouflaging your support as merely wanting to understand such vile acts.

Mugabe does not deserve my respect or anyone else's he is a brutal dictator , Iran IS menace and a potential threat to the region , including Cyprus , but lets forget that , the "terrorist" (your words ) state of Israel will take care of that . miltiades, I have recently received a promotion, it is mainly on account of my perceptions that I achieved it.

My periodic clashes with you have given me something which I never quite had before and, though I am a little reluctant, I feel I should thank you for it.

Extra patience miltiades, YOU have tasked me almost to the limit of man's endurance yet never have I lost my ability to remain calm.

Actually I consider our exchanges to be extra training, under certain circumstances, calmness and patience could save lives.

I promise to shave my beard just for you O , in the meantime where on earth did you get the idea that IIm a pacifist , surely you have read some of my posts on the subject. No . Oracle , Im on the side of the Cypriot government , I support the efforts made to find a solution , I support our governments intense political war both in Europe and in the USA in staving off the permanent partition of our island. You are not contributing one iota of benefit to the cause of Cyprus. You are preoccupied with your hatred of anything Turkish and unable to comprehend the imprudence of your views. You could have been a valuable asset to our cause , instead you are to a certain extent a liability.
Do not make the mistake of considering my views as those reflecting a "capitulated" position.
As my foes being GR and Eliko , I consider neither worthy of such distinction. Both are mere amateurs in the political arena and both would present a huge liability to the Cypriot cause , and so would you Oracle .

Let us imagine for one second that we are both Cypriot diplomats
I because of my age your senior , you my lowly -what else - assistant. We are in the UN chamber debating the Cyprus problem in front of the entire diplomatic world , I make a speech endorsing our governments efforts in negotiating a peaceful solution ,and stressing the need to reach a just solution , you on the other hand start shouting " Waste of time , lets go get them , war IS the only option ! (You voted for that ) What an embarrassment !!
