GC's HOLD RELIGIOUS CEREMONY AT ST. BARNABAS CHURCH

Postby halil » Sun Jun 08, 2008 5:51 pm

A religious ceremony was held this morning to honor the founder and protector of the Greek Cypriot Orthodox Church in Cyprus, Saint Barnabas.
Hundreds of Greek Cypriots attended the ceremony held at the Saint Barnabas Church in Famagusta Discreat this morning.

The religious mass was conducted by Metropolitan Vasileous.
The ceremony will be repeated on Tuesday morning and Wednesday afternoon on the original anniversary of the religious holiday.

Forgive me for what I am about to say regarding this uncharacteristic posting ...

Far be it from me to be cynical, but there can only be two reasons for halil's "gift":

1. He is trying to build a counter-defence to his portfolio of Turkish propaganda posts of which he is infamous.

2. He is educating the Turks towards their preoccupation with Turkifying GC culture as their own.

However, I sincerely hope halil has not stooped so low even for him, as to be gloating at the fact the Turks our occupying another of our significant historical towns (Salamis). A denial of this is meaningless however, as words are cheap .... he reminds us.

Rubbing salt in our wounds .....

I am exceptionally far from being a religious man(!) but people really should set this against the desecration, looting and wanton destruction of churches and cemeteries in the Occupied North since '74. So thanks a lot but no thanks.

The occupied forces "allow" an ancient religious ceremony to take part in a Greek Cypriot town and we should say thankyou.

Thankyou, for allowing us to worship in one of our churches, in one of our towns. As occupied regimes go, the turkish one is truly turning out to be a benevolent one.

This is another one of Halil's propaganda articles to show how nice the Turkish army is supposed to be. Remember, this Halil guy believes Turkish fascist theories that Cyprus was once joined to southern Asia Minor and thus, Turkey should have claims on it lol

According to your friend BirKibrisli ... the only ones not changing are the retarded TCs .....

Maybe you should start praying in what churches you have left untouched ....
