How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

I disagree... I think it is his argument that has not stood the test of time.

You can only play the "Victim" card for so long and then people get fed up and want to look at Facts, Reality and applying Just Laws .....

Misapplied sympathy gets wearisome...

Since when has Bir been playing the victim , how many of his numerous constructive , unlike your disparaging posts , have you read. It is time to take stock of your own misappropriated views and rather damaging approach and reassess your contribution to the efforts currently in force by all responsible Cypriots from the government downwards to find a sustainable route to a permanent solution.
It seems to me that your goal is to derail every single effort by anyone to present a balanced account of events that precipitated the present predicament of our islands' people .
What Cyprus needs right now is thousands of Birs and less of you , much less given that your seemingly intellectual capacity could easily adversely influence the naive and innocent.
Can you honestly say that even one sentence from your 5 thousand plus posts over such a short period was constructive in the slightest ?
You must consider posting less but with more substantially improved contributions , or do what you generally do best and keep to the one liner innuendos and quick witty answers !!

Kindly refrain from playing the pseudo-agent in here as it is both IRRELEVANT and UNINTERESTING. Move on.

Is that all you can do !! I think you have passed your "Say by date ", that bloody war knocked the stuffing out of you boy !!

miltiades how does it feel to be on the end of your own people stubbornness and ignorance, they ripped apart Bir now they have turned on, now do you understand why you are the minority and why there will never be a solution?

Bir knows that feeling very well. You've been ripping him apart from the moment he first started posting.

Bir lives with us but you are potential partners, again big difference. Does he really want to risk surrendering his community into the hands of hardliners such as yourself?

Yes we have had our disagreements with miltiades but I still respect him for the hope and positive message he puts out there even in the face of attacks from people of your mentality who are a danger to everyone both sides of the divide. No possible solution can be agreed with you DT, you do not have neither the vision or ability needed to compromise.

Your desire to live in an area where no greek is heard as you've quoted many times touches my heart. Your "vision" is blinding.

I did not say no Greek but an area where Turkish is the predominant language as if we take a visit to the south today we feel like foreigners as we do not understand the language the same can be said when we go to Italy or France we do not want to be foreigners in our own country.

I appreciate your criticism mentioned above but can't help noticing the entire blameless attitude against people that freely spread hate-mongering between the 2 communities...that FREAKED out when a proposed meeting between tc's and gc's was to be had...a person who insists that WHOEVER is leader on our side (these are his words now) he wants to live in a country where his children will not hear any greek spoken.

Are you referring to me? would you like to live in a country where Turkish is spoken in daily life at the butchers, in local government buildings, just like you were living in Turkey but in fact you are in a country you call your own.

A litte more

Viewpoint wrote:you have to understand my point of view about not wanting to hear Greek being spoken all the time, imagine your country is Spain and everyone around you speaks Italian, the south to me is like another country because we have never been one Cypriot country. I left the UK so ı could raise my children in an environment where they felt they belonged and were the indigenous people, not the visitors luckily I have achieved that but united with every 5 people being GCs how would I have fared?
