Congratulations to Turkey. Very good game. Do they have a good spare goalkeeper?
They do, but he's a nutter. Worse than Volkan
Rustu? Yes he is a very good gk. I predict he will stop the dutch scoring at single digits!
You never know. Once he has his warpaint on anything is possible. I think they have a chance against Croatia. May the better team win.

Nihat, plays for Villareal in La Liga, scored 18 goals this season & helped Villareal reach 2nd place. 1st game he played well in, but most impressive for me is Arda.

After Greece won it last time anything is possible. Turkey deserved the end result (even though they were gifted from Petr Cech) but look shakey at the back, therefore if they try and play football against a good footballing team with more clinical finishers than Czech Republic they may come unstuck.

But like I said, anything is possible.

By far the best game of the tournament so far .Turkey played with grid and determination and if they repeat it at their next game they could go all the way.
Good luck Turkey !

Firstly we are talking JUST football now , nothing whatsoever to do with politics the Eurovision contest or Miss World. Greece were atrocious , they played badly and were knocked out , Turkey , or let me rephrase that for you , the Turkish Football team played brilliantly and went through to tonight's match.
Just as my friend Mehmed 4 years ago gave his support to the Greek Football team stating that his reason was that it pleased me , so do I give my support to the Turkish Football team this evening against Croatia since it will please my dear friend Mehmed.
Get it Paphitis , its only a game of football mate !!
ps. America and Israel are not in the EURO 08 mate

Credit where credits due...Turkey are playing well, and if they're good enough they may well scoop the top prize...I am sad Greece are out, but they just didn't play well enough (I suspect pressure had something to do with that..).

I prefer to keep politics out of football as much as possible, and just appreciate the game... :)
