I hope it will coincide with Turkey's accesion date! Wouldn't that be ironic? 8) :lol:

According to Gordon Brown we've been roped in to help them with the staging of the Olympic Games, for some bizarre reason ....

Memorandum of understanding between the Republic of Cyprus and the United Kingdom5 June 2008

Initial priorities include:

The Olympics: we will work together to identify areas for co-operation as the UK prepares for the 2012 London Olympics.

its well over budget already mabye they are looking for a contribution.
