MEMORANDUM IS UNACCEPTABLE

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

You’re wasting our time with “damage control” drivel! My initial explanation was more than enough to counter someone who constantly violates other people’s copyright but you had to come along and try to be smart as per usual, and look at you now!

In future don’t be tempted to post unless you’ve got something genuine and useful to say or risk making a fool of yourself again... as always it's your choice. End of story.

Hello Halil.

Can you please stop posting propoganda from this PIRATE station.

If you must post propoganda from this PIRATE station, then can you do it in the Jokes and Enigmas section of this forum.

I will post the link for you:

Turkey is another country my dear friend . They can do what ever they want rest of the world but UK as a garantor power of the Cyprus .they have to asked to TC's as well .When they are going to talk about Cyprus .

they can not do anything what both leaders are decided at 23 may with the attendance of the UN observation .

Halil, Turkey is another country that illegally occupies OUR country - so of course any deals it makes with Britain about Cyprus is directly related to us.

Halil, what is it EXACTLY you didnt like about the memorandum? The fact that Cyprus may be unified??? Halil, i know you have been brainwashed otherwise, but President Christofias is the president of the WHOLE of Cyprus. Talat is just the LEADER of the Turkish Cypriot community and not any president, no matter what the editors at Bayrak type. Therefore, dont expect the Prime Minister of Britain to meet Mehmet Talat in any official 'presidential' capacity. Get used to it!

I wonder what those 'conditions' will be for the TRNC in the event of failed negotiations ? I understand that Ali Babacan, during his visit to the US informed Condoleeza Rice that there, will be a change of staus for the TRNC were the talks to fail. I have been reliably informed that the US, 'will not stand in the way or object to what would be the legitimate demand of the Turkish Cypriot community to take its place amongst the community of nations in such an eventuality.'

I have been shot at many times by the more neanderthal GC members on this forum for previously suggesting that recognition of the TRNC will be inevitable were negotiations to fail. I am now more convinced than ever that 'Cyprus' is drinking in the last chance saloon.

So your more or less admitting the Turkish and Turkish Cypriot demands in unification talks are so ridiculous, they WANT the talks to fail to receive some kind of recognition.

Muzzy, Condoleeza Rice also said to the Cypriots that the US would never recognise the 'TRNC' or a Turkish Cypriot state. Guess what, they tell you what you want to hear - but it doesnt mean they mean it. But of course, because you have been 'reliably informed' and you know something that only the Pentagon and the Turkish Deep State knows, we will take what you say as the truth and not some Turkish nationalist rubbish born from the ATCA website.

Oh yeah, I dont think Condo Rice will be in office for much longer.

Its odd that GR shows more concern to 'copyright' than to his fellow beings selfdetermination'. Get real, Get Real. No chance there.

Hi there.

In the main, I do not see much wrong with this MOU. However there seems to have been added intentionally or unintentionally an escape clause for the RoC. That being linking the whole Issue of any peace settlement to the Ankara Protocol. In this light I am of the opinion that Turkey will not accept any solution that will mean the RoC has the 'upper hand' on any negotiation - with the Ankara Protocol as the stick. The RoC will use this at the slightest pretext in order to scuttle meaningful negotiations. The Ankara Protocol could be ear marked for later discussions or after or when Turkey ever joins the EU.

I don't think they're connected Deniz. Cyprob is a separate discussion to the discussion they had as 2 EU partners considering the membership of a 3rd country.

This quote from the 'dreaded Cyprus Mail' says
The two leaders were in agreement on the objective of full EU membership for Turkey, on condition that Turkey fulfilled “its outstanding obligations” to EU members; a reference to the Ankara protocol which requires Turkey to open its ports and airports to Cyprus-flagged ships and planes.
How can you say that when this is in Christophias statement. It seems from my armchair that the link has been made.
