I hope we all agree that having more intercommunal marriages can only bring good to Cyprus. Can you think of one bad thing an intercommunal marriage can bring to the communities of the island?

Halfcast children, bastardization of TC race, bastardization of GC race. GCs will make it national policy to impregnate all TC women so they can wipe out our race, no inter marriages they can marry their own kind GCs

VP this is a kind of racist approach. I once visited a KKK website. They say they are not against blacks (yea bullshit), but they are against interracial marriages between whites and blacks, whose children become "brown race". You lost it this time. Let people marry whoever they want to.

Forgive me if im wrong..but isnt the Turkish race a bastardize one anyway? A TC was the one that told me that a Turk is made up of about 88 different ethnicities.

Also, its more or less common knowledge that many GC and TC already have shared blood down the line. I've seen TC girls and GC girls look the spitting image of eachother before.

I did not deem it necessary to get involved in this subject but you might like to know that a girl, relative of mine, married a man from Istambul. They just ... fell in love! They are together 3 years now and they are doing very well and yes, they are still very much in love. I do not think they care twopence for the bastardation of either race or the dilution of greekness or turkishness.

To the original topic of the subject now, I have not read all contributions but, maybe someone did mention, the case of Imprahim Aziz who took the Cyprus government to the International Court for not allowing him to vote in the presidential elections 2 years ago. He won the case.

Mete havent I got the right to what I want, and I dont want my children to marry GCs, they are just not compatable with us, other people can marry who they want its a free world like they have the right so do I, and my personal opinion is that there should not be any inter community marriages.

I am too do not want my kids to marry with G.Cs -not because I hate them (oh god no), but I do not believe that marrying with G.Cs will bastardise Turkish race or vice versa. VP, in your first opinion, you said you are against intercommunal marriages btw TCs and GCs, because it will basdardise both races. Anyway, I hope you got the point...
