Perhaps renovating a few deserted mosques in the South would be a good idea?

Most of them have been / are being renovated Tess ~ except for the more remote villages and even they have seen some improvement over the last few years ~ this is in stark contrast to what seems to be happening to the orthodox churches in the north .

There are certain things I'm not happy about in the south such as desecration of Turkish Cypriot graves but as the same happens to Greek Cypriot graves in the north I don't complain as it seems to be tit for tat even though it's unpleasant who ever is doing it .


Bill, as long as you complain with no discrimination. These acts of vandalism have no place in modern society. It is a disgrace also to the authorities that have allowed these vile practices to take place. I curse them all.

If you mean about blue eyed blondes being special I stated my opinion, no question about it in my eyes. I find blonde people wholly unattractive, always have always will, insipid looking and mostly live up to their reputations of being dumb.

Your insinuation is way off the mark Bill. I have seen you make mention of this before and I have been keeping my eyes open and doing a comparative study between my friends back in the UK and women here in Cyprus. And I can safely conclude that there is absolutely no significant difference between brunettes in the UK and brunettes in Cyprus regarding facial and arm hair.

When it comes to blondes it has been scientifically proven that they are in fact hairier ... just that the hairs are not as obvious.

So another myth busted!

And before you go on about me, I don't even have hairs on my arms let alone my top lip .... (thanks to my mum's German genes )

enough time is spent on this forum with stupid arguments and personal insults. it has nothing to do with the thread. i think, yes us dumb blondes do think, that we could agree to differ in a pleasant manor. and as for the tv program it was about scientific stuff and genetics, so all the scientists made it up! back to mosques................

I just have to say that I saw a tv programme last week called The Weakest Link. All the contestants were girlfriends/wives of footballers and yes you've guessed, most were blonde and bumbest bunch of individuals you could ever lay eyes on. It should have gone out as a comedy rather than a quiz.
