Feel free to talk about anything that you want.

african american is way outdated. besides, not all blacks come from africa.

.... and not all Africans are "blacks".

How inhuman to even consider the level of pigmentation in ones skin as worthy of discussion at any level ...... other than degree of protection required in the sun

Has everyone managed to rid themselves of "racist" skeletons yet so that we can move on ......

What garbage !! Mugabe I suppose is one of them !!! The other I think Idi Amin ??

regardless of the political aspirations Robert Mugabe has, or those of the late Idi Amin, I am sure those two persons are/were extremely proud of their backgrounds.

You see miltiades, you are apparently a person with severe mental disabilities in that you are unable to detach your opinions from basic facts.

I would suggest (and I base my views on what I have seen and experienced) that the African people are among the most proud and dignified human species on the face of the earth, I know you will find some disparaging remarks to counter what I have proposed, THAT, my friend, is YOUR problem, not mine.

Precisely !!
Eliko you are a mere novice when it comes to having sensible and constructive views on anything what so ever. The loathsome views you have on the West clouds your vision and restricts your ability to be plausible in your thinking on matters concerning not only Western behaviour but , savage and barbaric actions as in the case of the suicide killers , utterly irrational as shown by your recent support of a war as the only option to liberate Cyprus and now your support of Mugabe , an individual that ought to be hanged by his balls and made to sing God save the Queen for his atrocious and continuing crimes against the " dignified" people of Zimbabwe . There has been one noble leader in Africa , one that the entire world respects , you know the one , Nelson Mandela a truly great man and the greatest African EVER. As for the rest they are nothing more than a bunch of corrupt vicious warlords that are depriving their people of a decent living while indulging in luxurious activities basking in the glory of "Noble " fairyland fantasy.
Nigeria one of the largest oil producers in the world with immense natural resources and yet the people have one of the lowest standards of living in the world , yet as you say they are "dignified " that makes it ok.!!

What an unfortunate choice of hero with which to beat Eliko and by inference Get Real!, Miltiades.

It is precisely Mandela's attributes with which these two fight political swindle. And it is IMHO, people such as yourself who banned, arrested and imprisoned him.

Mandela explaining himself at the Rivona trial:

"At the beginning of June 1961, after long and anxious assessment of the South African situation, I and some colleagues came to the conclusion that as violence in this country was inevitable, it would be wrong and unrealistic for African leaders to continue preaching peace and non-violence at a time when the government met our peaceful demands with force."

Good Morning miltiades, I trust all is well with you and your family ?.

Once more it seems, I am obliged to defend my previous comments in an effort to encourage you to 'Read and Digest' the implications and facts contained in them.

I do NOT hate America, I have never stated that I do, nor do I hate the American people.

The same would apply to Israel the UK and every other nation on the face of the earth.

I do NOT support Robert Mugabe, Osama bin Laden, nor the host of other entities you are so fond of associating me with and (were you able to interpret the contents my posts correctly) I think that fact is quite clear.

I did not advocate a 'WAR' against Turkey, I merely chose to support Get Real's stance (which I considered to be strong) in preference to YOURS (which I considered to be weak), in the poll which exposed the weakness of your stance.

I consider myself to be a FAIR man miltiades, I condemn the actions of those who oppress the weak and I admire the strength and courage of those who resist oppression and aggression.

That does NOT mean that I admire and support the actions of 'Suicide Bombers' and the aftermath of their actions, THEY who commit such dreadful acts in order to draw the attention of the world to their plight, consider that they have no alternative.

If they were as well equipped as the aggressors, the outcome would be different since THEY have justice on their side.

So you see miltiades, before you come out swinging and foaming at the mouth like some mad dog, I suggest you should take a little time in considering the 'Causes', 'Reasons' and 'Objectives' of what is taking place right HERE on our doorstep.

Miltiades I can't believe you asked me where is the analogy!

What do you call 40,000 Turkish troops present in our country? .... keeping our own people away from their ancestral home by FORCE !... Yes Miltiades, I consider that by force!

Because they (our enemy, the Turks) have their guns and weapons in our country! .... because they have their troops in our country! ... because my people are not free to go home! ..... Yes Miltiades! ...

Our peaceful demands were met with Force ... exactly as Mandela said in South Africa!

Or is your silence surrender!

(P.S. ... have to take son to buy harpoon gun now, speak later! )

O, the government of Cyprus is not Turkey , the occupied part of Cyprus IS Turkey governed . The legal and recognised government of the then South Africa was not occupying South Africa but denying the majority the right of self rule with apartheid thrown in as a good measure. To compare events that took place in South Africa then with events in Cyprus right now is not quite correct you must admit.
Do not forget who gave Turkey the green light to invade and it was not the T/Cs but the fascists of Greece aided and abated by the G/C extremists . The military" coupists " of 1974 did not only consider the T/Cs as an obstacle to their journey towards the "sale" of Cyprus to Greece but also considered those G/Cs opposing them as traitors and a valid target.
Our present predicament was orchestrated from beginning to end by the shortsighted extremists , examples of which we see on this forum every day , who considered Cyprus their exclusive property regardless of other Cypriots views.
Bananiot is amongst the genuine Cypriots who want nothing more for Cyprus than a peaceful solution based on human rights and equality , based on respect for all Cypriots , he does not differentiate between the G/Cs T/Cs Maronites , Armenians or others .
He has never used foul language or derogatory graffiti on other forum members and in spite of his highly developed intellectual capabilities he remains modest and accommodating to those with lesser degrees of vocabulary competence. A true Cypriot !!
ps. No jokes on "lesser degrees...........

miltiades, the generally accepted definition of a 'Bully' is one who uses his superior strength to frighten, subdue or oppress one weaker than oneself.

A 'Coward' is one who is afraid to face danger, (could be coupled with a 'Bully' since such a one would become emboldened in such company).

I wonder if you are able to grasp the significance of the words you have used 'Above' and are able to associate them with certain events currently taking place in the 'Middle East' ?.

Your reference to one 'Running a Mile' at the sight of the enemy would imply that NOT running would be an attitude you would admire.

Congratulations miltiades, with your own words you have condemned the 'Bullying and Cowardly' actions of those you have hitherto supported, you have also commended those who (although certainly outnumbered and facing far superior might) have stood their ground against those 'Bullies'.

WELCOME to OUR SIDE miltiades, I just KNEW you would see the light one day.

It took a long time, but it feels good to know that I will no longer be subject to your insults, thank God for that !.
