Ikea is pretty good, we have just used them to furnish an apt. If you want to go and get the stuff yourself I have the number of a man who hires out a van - self drive. You can pretty much get everything in one go then. The staff in Ikea are friendly and helpful. There is also a Carrefour next to Ikea (in the cyprus mall) you can get stuff in there like bbqs, outdoor furniture, bedding electrical goods etc. There is also a Debenhams and a Next for anyone suffering withdrawal symptoms (not sure what they sell, didn't go in). There is a huge supermarket in Limassol called Orphanides they also sell all household items (not furniture) eg bedding, electricals, outdoor furniture etc. Good luck!

Also try Superhome Centre . There are 2 in Nicosia but there is one in Limassol too. Good quality fair value !
