As a further bonus, my financial advisor informs that not only will I be able to retire but I will even be able to buy the Cyprus Forum and torture every member all the way to nut house... my lifelong dream! Image

greece vs turkey is 250-1 on paddypower.

That's only the first part of the probability so when you add the remaining political events to that you end up with a 1000000000-1 8)

1966, yes I remember, only because it is foisted upon us at every available opportunity. I was young then living in Cyprus, we could not afford a TV, but the result was broadcast by a Cypriot neighbor.
I am more in tune with the glory days of Leeds United in the seventies.

Don't worry! By 2066 England will become World Champions once again! :D ...provided they qualify first for the World Cup! 8)

I wish Greece repeats the triumph of 2004 although I think they are much weaker and more importantly more predictable than then. Anyway if they make it to the second round anything can happen! Greece, Spain, Sweden & Russia are more or loss equal in power so I think it's going to be mostly about who is luckier!

Injuries leave Spain light up front

Spain's preparations for UEFA EURO 2008™ have been disrupted with strikers David Villa, Fernando Torres and Sergio García all picking up knocks in their last training session ahead of their final warm-up match against the United States in Santander tonight.

Training knocks
Villa sustained a blow to his right thigh and is not expected to play any part against the US, with the Valencia CF forward due to undergo further tests to determine the full extent of the problem. Sergio García also took a bang – to his ankle – while Liverpool FC forward Torres is another to have an ankle problem in the shape of a minor sprain. Midfielder Andrés Iniesta stayed behind as the team travelled to Santander as he continues to recover from a virus.

nice
