Well done Germany! Even though they didn't play their best football, they did improve towards the end and scored a great goal to wrap up the game and make it through to the finals. However I must admit I was convinced that it was going to go into extra time and that Turkey would win. All Credit to Turkey, it was a great game and they were on top for a lot of it. They showed passion and determination, and they certainly went out with a bang!

On another note, what was with the weather? Freak electrical storm anyone? For about 10 minutes we were watching the match on a satellite German channel with BBC 5live on in the background..out of sync. We heard of the second Turkish goal before we actually saw it! :lol:

Slightly surreal night... :eyecrazy:
