Presumably this is a euphemism for some kind of brothel?

My comments really say that it is no different to any popular holiday resort. Perhaps should add in Europe. Calella in Spain in 1991 was worse and totally shocked me even then and I was an elderly 35 years old then. Why should they advertise it as a young and lively resort? Out of main season you rarely see anyone under 50. Why should these many people be disuaded from visiting? Because there is an influx of younger people in the summer doesn't mean that there aren't many many more mature people who love it just because you don't.
I'd holiday there anytime.

It might be an idea if the CTO advertised Napa as a young and lively place to visit, and not a family resort. It may then deter families from going and expessing negative comments.

But some of the hotels going out of town slightly and nice and the typical Club 18-30 may not be able to afford it.

If the CTO only advertised Napa for the young then wouldnt these bigger hotels suffer?

No you are quite correct. What I am trying to say is people get the wrong impression when advertised as a family resort. Yes some older people enjoy it, some families enjoy it, but there are some that are shocked by it.
I don't like it, because I prefer a quieter area, I don't want to introduce my daughter to drunken yobs, foul language and the fights that are genrally associated with it. Napa is lovely out of season, and between the hours of 6am-11.30 am.
You go and enjoy, I am all for people having a good time, it's a shame the majority who visit need a belly full of Keo and a foul mouth to have a good time.

A few years ago Faliraki and Napa witnessed spiking womens drinks then later raping them but lately there has been no mention, which is very good of course. Has all this now stopped or are the press just not reporting it>

I hope it has stopped. It is a sad fact that people behave in this way, but places get reputations based on incidents that are genrally preventable.
