Ayia Napa - what do you think of it?

Feel free to talk about anything that you want.

Agreed, also to be approached in the daytime with family by some spotty herbert giving out cards to a strip club.
If I had of been by myself I would of rammed the cards down his throat.

Presumably this is a euphemism for some kind of brothel?

I think the place is the pits. Once it was really nice but not now!

Only been to Napa twice, both times was 'out of season' which we think is the better time to visit.
Too many 'lager louts' around in the summer, so we stay clear. Pity as it is a lovely place to go.
I love the town square (they decorate it with reindeer etc at Christmas; quite picturesque

As a man of the world then Bill you are surely aware of the streets of Amsterdam where ladies selling their wares are openly on display at all times of day and night, as is in Germany where sex shops and clubs are intermingled with everyday shops.

In fact Birmingham is well known as having more lap dancing clubs than most anywhere in the UK these days. If you do a search for that you'll also find pole dancing lessons abound everywhere.
Please don't try to say this is an issue exclusive to Cyprus.

As for whoever said he was walking round at 3 am in the morning and there were families around, I'd have to say what sort of parents are they who keep their children out on the streets at that time?

I still love it anyway.
Been there in season and out of season. Had a night out there in season and saw nothing I wouldn't see on any city street in the UK or any other holiday resort.
Always found it to be clean and friendly with great value for money.
Favourite place Vassos Restaurant in the harbour.

Each to their own, I thought the question was about Napa, comparing to the UK seems to be the yardstick on forum. It might be an idea if the CTO advertised Napa as a young and lively place to visit, and not a family resort. It may then deter families from going and expessing negative comments.
