During the event, the civil society organizations provided information about their activities.
The event was organized under the slogan `Be a Volunteer, Be Happy` within the framework of the `Volunteer Network Project` being implemented by the Management Center, the NGO Support Centre and HasNa with the support of the UNDP-ACT.
The project aims to build local and international network among organizations in Cyprus that work with volunteers.
In an address at the event, the Management Centre Project Coordinator Tanyel Oktar said the aim of the event is to raise the awareness of volunteerism and to increase the number of volunteers in Cyprus.
He noted that similar events would be organized in other cities in the coming days.
