Thankyou for all your help so far.

For those of you in Cyprus already (We move 30th July) what one thing did you/ would you bring from the UK with you?

Thanks in advance

At this point, most people will probably say 'rain'!

If I was going to live in Cyprus I'd take a SatNav so I wouldn't get lost, though I suppose you could buy one out there...

Good luck with your move!

Hi Karmic, good luck with the move. Where are you relocating to then?

Right onto the question:

Steradent [for gummies]

If on the cuddly side, then lots of clothing as they are mainly skinnies out here

Ham Stock Cubes [if you are a Scot]

Mmmmm can't think of anything else apart from those insect repellent things you plug in` [the ones that apparently they can't stand and move house]. Bought ours of QVC 4 years ago.

Most things are available here, even marmite, and if you can get that then you can get anything apart from the above.

Warm wishes and stay safe

Any PC, camera, gadget type thing that might need replacing in the near future. Will cost you substantially more here.

Satnav won’t work.

OK, if you can't have SatNav then how about a few bottles of Levi Roots Reggae-Reggae Sauce? It's so nice he had to name it twice...

A bit of respect would be the most important thing to bring with you from that decadent land, I hope you are going to Pafos, you might be able to do some good down there, if you bring enough to spread around !.

Hey, steady on.

Now your asking for trouble!

If I did not understand that other Cypriots look at Pafos with green envy, I would be giving you the Paphitico treatment.

Thank your lucky stars that I can appreciate the fact that in Cyprus there are 2 types of Cypriots.

Paphites and wannabe Paphites.

But then again, in every flock there is a black sheep. And our black sheep is Miltiades.
