Hey Niki mou. Where have you been gori mou, not another holiday?

Agree with jumpers and coats, we too did not realise just how cold the winter months are. You may be wearing shorts in the day time, but those cold and yes, bitter nights, HUH!

Now that we have Ikea and supermarkets/department stores vying for business, products have improved and to some extent so have prices.

Bring stuff you cannot live without - a favourite sauce or certain type of shampoo (ask and we will gladly inform you if they are available here!) I know packing all this kind of stuff may seem odd, but it may make you settle in quicker! Having as much of 'home' will really help!

Good quality pots and pans are quite expensive so if you are bringing your items over in a container, bring as much of these items as you can!

As you are coming out in summer, not many clothes required - just lots of suncream and changes of costumes!

Hey, steady on.

Now your asking for trouble!

If I did not understand that other Cypriots look at Pafos with green envy, I would be giving you the Paphitico treatment.

Thank your lucky stars that I can appreciate the fact that in Cyprus there are 2 types of Cypriots.

Paphites and wannabe Paphites.

But then again, in every flock there is a black sheep. And our black sheep is Miltiades.

Forgive my assumption fellow Paphitis, that I may know better what dear Eliko is conveying than yourself ... maybe it is blind optimism and wishful thinking .... but my interpretation of his statement is that the respect he suggests Paphos is lacking / in dire need of is due to the great number of (disrespectful) expats which permeate that unfortunate corner of "Olde Englande" and not due to any lack-of by the (historical) natives .... (such as moi! :D ).

Get it?
