Paphitis, my intention was to stir up a bit of good old British rebuttal, perhaps embelished with some choice words of appraisal from the more ably equipped to deliver them, it all seems to be too friendly on the forum at the moment.

I know what you mean. Deniz also seems to be a little bored and has the same idea as you.

This forum is starting to get a little soft lately.

I can not wait until Eric comes back. Should also keep Miltiades occupied for a while.

Hey, steady on.

Now your asking for trouble!

If I did not understand that other Cypriots look at Pafos with green envy, I would be giving you the Paphitico treatment.

Thank your lucky stars that I can appreciate the fact that in Cyprus there are 2 types of Cypriots.

Paphites and wannabe Paphites.

But then again, in every flock there is a black sheep. And our black sheep is Miltiades.

What about our Oracle? Is she real or a wanabee?

Oh Oh. Now you have done it!

I hope you are ducking for cover Deniz!

What wrong with asking? I will be told the TRUTH and thats it. I suspect she hails from the Tylliria region (maybe wrong here) but would like to know if the Tyllirians are also Paphians too. I think mother Oracle lives in Paphos but you never know, what with population movements since the 1950's.

I have new post. Should I duck?

Agreed , I am off out for the evening (first free time for months) and I thought it might be a good idea to leave a ripple behind me ere I depart.

Enjoy your evening as I intend to enjoy mine.

Huh. A false alarm.

I do not see whay Milti is considered a 'black sheep' though. He is a good Cypriot, through and through/true.

He makes a good sketo, and that convinces me.

Is Fridays still the 'pay day'? Very few Cypriots around. The forum has become the 'visitors corner'.

Enjoy

imo what Halil pens personally is the truth. What he cuts and pastes, that is a different matter. He is only disseminating info from the Northern Press. Personally I welcome it. Its a pity the same can not be done from the GC side. Our only source from the Cyprus Mail is usually frowned upon by most GCs.

The Cyprus mail is not considered high standard journalism in RoC. It is more of a tabloid. Probably not the best of sources.
