Buying cheap furniture

Postby Sutton_wolf » Fri May 30, 2008 11:05 am

I've just acquired a small studio in Limassol, and want to let it on a long term basis. Any idea where I can get some reasonably priced furniture in Limassol? I'm in Cyprus for two weeks from June 8th - any suggestions gratefully received.

Thanks, Chris

Thanks mate - where are they, and what sort of prices are we talking? I need a bed, a chest, and maybe a wardrobe.

I dunno… SWMBO deals with the pricing but we got some really nice furniture for our house and also some cheaper stuff for some friend’s apartments that are being let out. I’m sure they offer good value and more importantly, have never let us down.

From Nicosia take the last (sixth) roundabout and the Port exit.

First set of traffic lights turn right.

Go through loads (3 or 4) sets of traffic lights ‘til you come to a set that is signposted left to the Industrial Area (there is a big shoe shop on the right). Turn left there.

Down that road a few hundred meters on the left.

If they don’t have it they’ll make it for you…

Depends what you call cheap but Steptoes in Paphos are really well priced and their 'kit' is good too. www.steptoes.biz. If you send them an email you will also get a reply, which doesnt always happen in Cyprus!

They are run by English

They aren't in Google so it's difficult to trace them and see what they do.

There is now also a Steptoes in Limassol...Near Chesters (well just behind it)

There is also the Large furniture store near the lights of Fairways, and also a furniture store (which do really cheap furniture) near the Church of Agios Nicolas...accross the road and down a bit.
