You are procrastinating as always when you can't answer simple questions.

Ok thread topic

I wonder how this would go down with the Parisienne Perfumers if Turkey joins us in the EU?

I don't think they'll give a sod.

Turkish women will probably wear more perfume in the home for their husbands than others who just splash it on occasionally when they go out for the evening.

Nothing new at all.

I think on that note ... Yves St Laurent has decided to "hang up" his couturier's mortal coil .... :(

Oracle wrote:"Women have to be more careful than men"

From an article by Robert Tait: Guardian Thursday May 29 2008

A powerful Turkish state body Diyanet, has urged women to cover up and behave modestly to avoid provoking male sexual desire.

They equated flirting with adultery and condemned women for wearing perfume putting the onus squarely on women by urging them to cover up and behave modestly to avoid provoking male sexual desires.

"Women have to be more careful, since they have stimulants," the article stated. "Muhammad did not think kindly of women who put on perfumes outside their homes and go strolling and saw this as immoral behaviour."

Men arent the only ones full of sexual desire. Women are just as horny as men, if not more. FACT.

Maybe it is the men, indeed, that Islam is out to protect ...

The inference is less about whether perfume is actually used as a provocative sexual allure ... and more about the (further) loss of freedom women in Islamic societies have to face.

Would you not feel perturbed to be condemned by law for wearing after-shave?

enough is enough

the only thing that I concluded from this conversation is that we, people, people of different cultures and different places, were born in different places, taught different things, one can swear to someone or something which the other has a deep respect, the other can kill the one because of this, one can start a war against the other, then one and the other hates each other.hatred is such an easy thing.coz you just hate it has no logic, and despite the fact that we have shorter life spans since global warming began to threat us, we still hate each other. I realized that there might be someone who creates this hatred. this is neither mohammed nor bush or hıtler or jesus or whoever faced with the people. they are hiding somewhere, somewhere in our own bodies. I cancelled all the hatred inside me,till I die. I hope there will be no countries, nations, discriminations, flags, muslıms,christians, turks, greeks or fuckıng damned cyprus. I hope there will only be love and laugh... I love all of you :)
