GR and xxNilxx are really the two sides of the same coin. Each one blames the "other" side in order to further their nationalist aims. The bathroom murders were not a crime performed by Greeks. They were a crime committed by criminal Greeks, just like the murders of Aihan Mustafa Hikmet and Ahmet Mousafer Giourkan were committed by criminal Turks. I have no doubt that if GR was a Turksih Cypriot he would have been a Denktash and probably (because I do not know him), xxNilxx would have been a Sampson, had he been a Greek Cypriot.

The honest Cypriots recognise the hardship committed by both sides and grieve for the losses of both communities. The blame game, so much magnified by Piratis (you killed 100 and we killed only 10) does not do Cyprus any good.

We should be promoting the spirit of reconcilliation and finger point those responsible for the mass, indescriminate killings in both commuities, instead of making heroes of them them. This is the only way forward, unless we do not have the good of Cyprus in our heart.

It's true what you say... and I am for peace... but I put my point accross on the fake propaganda that GR(ivas) talks about.

I posted about the 4 steps of the Turkish propaganda some time ago:

Step 1) Deny every crime the Turks committed against others (Cypriots, Armenians, Kurds etc)

Step 2) Search in history to find some casualties they had from those others. It doesn't matter if for every 1 casualty they had they have caused 1000 on the other side, due to "Step 1" above. After all for them "One Turk equals the whole world"

Step 3) Exaggerate their findings from "Step 2" by a factor of 1000.
Here we see the first interesting results of their propaganda. Some 800 Turks killed in Cyprus is considered a genocide, but 10s of thousands of Cypriots, or 1.5 millions of Armenians that they killed is not, according to their propaganda.

Step 4) Now they determined that they are the innocent ones and the others are the bad ones, they decide that they have the right to use yet more brute force to violate even more the rights of others. If by any chance those others react and cause to the Turks some casualties then the Turkish casualties will be later used in "Step 2", while of course the Turkish aggression that for once more was the cause of the problem will be denied as per "Step 1".

In the case of Cyprus in particular the Turkish propaganda "steps" want to bring us to the conclusion that the "evil" GCs should for once more be punished while the "innocent" Turks should be rewarded on GCs loss.

On the other hand, Greek Cypriots, who have suffered and continue to suffer due to Turkish aggression, all they ask for is their land, their rights and what belongs to them in their own island.

xxNilxx, the Cypriots never ventured out of their island to harm anybody. It is the Turks who invaded us killing 1000s and 10s of thousands of Cypriots at a time. Yes, in the wars and conflicts which you started in order to deny to the Cypriot people their freedom and self-determination, you obviously had some victims as well.

You coming here and showing some of the few 100s of victims that you had, while showing nothing of the 1000s and 10s of thousands of Cypriots that you killed, not to mention the 100s of thousands of Cypriots that you ethnically cleansed, is called propaganda my friend.

It would be like the Nazis showing only their own casualties from the war, without mentioning that it was them who started the war and without showing the many more casualties they caused to others, and trying to present themselves as the victims and those that fought for their freedom as the aggressors! Thats what you do here.

So xxNilxx, will you finally drop the Nazi practices and lame excuses, and accept that Cyprus should finally be free, everybody should be allowed to return to their homes, all foreign troops to be removed from our island, and with democracy where all Cypriots are equal citizens without racist discriminations?
