VP, we have discussed the past several times. We have discussed who started it all, who invaded the island of another, who oppressed another the most, which side had by far the most casualties etc etc.

As always you are trying to find some excuse to violate the human rights of Cypriots by presenting the GCs as the evils who need to be punished and the TCs the innocents who have to be rewarded, something that has absolutely nothing to do with the truth.

CopperLine, I used the terms "rejectionist" and "acceptionist" simply because your dear friend Bananiot is trying to paint the picture that rejecting something is necessarily bad, even when what you reject are things like crimes, racist discriminations and segregation.

Beyond that the question is perfectly valid. If you want I can rephrase it for you like this:

Would you accept as a "solution" to the Cyprus Problem something that would legalize ethnic cleansing, that would violate the human rights of 100s of thousands of people, that would segregate and divide Cypriots in a racist Apartheid way, and that would allow foreign troops to remain on our island?

It is really beyond me how such arrangement can be considered a "solution".

Piratis, your poll and your question is loaded. it is too bad that this bias is coming from you, but it clearly implies in a general sense that Turkish Cypriots are not Greek Cypriots, that somehow, based on Human Principals they are different. If you believe that, then consider, this is wrong.

I get your point; but you don't score points by demonstrating the Intolerance we are all suffering from.

You don't have to go to such extremes, please. We need more from you.

Piratis, I was not commenting on a proposed solution, on the notion of accepting this or rejecting that. I was commenting on the wording of a poll. Why would anyone answer positively to a question worded 'do you support the violation of human rights of 100s of thousands of peopl ?' !!! Why would anyone answer negatively to a question worded ' do you reject ethnic cleansing ?' !!!!

VP would answer that GCs are evil and therefore they should have their human rights violated in eternity as a punishment, and they have to be ethnically cleansed from 1/3rd of Cyprus so the innocent TCs will have a "Turkish Cyprus" of their own.

Thats exactly what some people support as a "solution" CopperLine. You just noticed?

i imagine things never change, according to vp.

we cannot make change, not according to King (and others) either.

submission to the way things are, is our only solution.

The packaging maybe different but the content is still the same.

vp sorry, but you can't put church with the word mosque beside it, without saying that Greeks started it so the Turks do it too.

to repeat myself, without any packaging: the fight is us Humans against Ignorance. It is not a fight Turk against Greek (or if you like vive versa).

Placing a saddle on a donkey does not make it a race horse.

Hands up all those that feel VP has overused this phrase. By my count this is the 7962th time. If you add Zan's use as well then I think we have a winner on the most used phrase by the TC's. And I thought it was "assihtir pezevengi" :? Maybe we can come up with a new one for you.

I love the above phrase and will use it when necessary because it suits the "RoC" and GCs down to the ground, they think they are a race horse but the mentality is still a donkeys.
