There are 2 rules that MUST be obeyed:
1. - You must give me a valid reason why you want to travel to this specific date before I can press the buttons.
2. - In the interests of fun, originality and keeping this thread on track, none of these reasons can have reference to the Cyprus problem.
Happy Birthday Xybadog, I hope you enjoy many more of them.
As to your 'Time Machine', I hope there is plenty of room in it because I am sure that there are hundreds of thousands of us that would love to return to the happy days of our childhood.
You have placed restrictions on what should be mentioned, I would imagine that some of the older generation might find that an extremely difficult task to perform since they have witnessed such horrors beyond the ken of most people.
My own trip, would certainly see me back in the days when my Mother and Father, together with my Brothers and Sisters were happily engaged in the daily events of a normal family life.
Many have been taken from this life, I will not mention the 'Time' or 'Place' in order to conform with your wishes, they should be quite obvious, particularly to those who select this forum to wile away their time.
I am sure it was not your intention to direct the thoughts of so many to days gone (when they knew happiness) I fear you may have done just that, certainly in my case.
Nonetheless, Best Wishes to you and Good Luck in the years to come.
If your 'Time Machine' is capable of travelling into the future, perhaps you should go alone in order to ascertain whether mankind EVER reaches a time when peace and harmony is the norm. If such a period exists my advice to you would be to stay there, (unless you also carry bad memories which may develop into a catalyst which could destroy the society).
Second thoughts, maybe you should forget about it.
