Why do people not log in and stay hidden? I have never figured that one out. Can someone enlighten me please?

I just can't understand

a) How you would know people haven't logged in and are "hidden"
b) Why it would concern anyone enough to start a thread about it

I, like many millions of other people, view other sites and forums, being interested in just taking in the information available without having to log in or even register. Do you register, log in and have input on absolutely every website you visit, each and every time you visit those sites? There is no need to unless you want to add input.

What is wrong?

Bad day!! It's my birthday, only had one card, p1ssing down with rain so couldn't get up into the mountains with the bike, and my mates aren't out tonight for one reason or another so I'm stuck in

...but I also couldn't understand the reason for posting this question. Did I sound bitter in my last post?

On a personal note, and only saying this from my own experience, it could be that they are waiting for the logon details email ....... took ages!
