Turkish entry good as well! << quote

Agree!

But Eurovision is finished now...Western Europe shouldn't participate in it anymore, it's only political.. Uk is not participate next year :(

I didn't understood why the British and Irish liked the Latvia song. Then I heard it again and I understood it is like the songs that they sing when they are drunk at the pubs  ;) I liked the Armenian song most but Russian song was not bad. Also I made a calculation and even if you remove the politics Russia would still win but with a smaller difference. (Russia got on average 5.3 points from non directly affiliated countries, all the rest got less).

Hey

Told you it was the funniest night of the year!

UK bottom!

Thanks Europe!

Russia. Obviously the best song. LOL!!

I think we may as well piss off!

IMHO, whilst Russia's entry was ok, I did not think of it as a winner!

Thanks to San Marino and Ireland for giving us some points! How embarrassing to come joint last!

I do hope that Terry does not retire from doing the commentary in the future as he implied last night! That would be tragic! :( Will have to listen to BBC radio 2 tomorrow to find out!

With Azerbayjan in , there will be yet another " Greece-Cyprus " arangement from now on.

What I didn't expect was Turkey giving 10 points to Armenia  .
Most of the voting was done on nationalistic lines , just shows how apart Europe still is from each other .

Never expected Bilan to win, Turkey entry was very good... at last some proper music cause i hated every single entry they had for the past 10 years. Bilan cant sing in English, his accent is so bad, he had some lessons to fix his pronunciation but all attempts failed... he shouldn't sing in English alltho his last album is pretty good, musicwise.
The worst song he sang was "The number one fan" made for him by Timbaland... alltho the music is good, i could never sit throu the whole song... his accent is very very bad.

Azerbaijan was a weird song, but i downloaded CD version and it s pretty good actually :)
UK songs was good, but they shouldn't participate and instead make a proper 15 state song contest without Gypsy/EasternBlock states...

Turkey never misses an opportunity for a good Public Relations exercise. Levying accusations of hypocrisy do not deter, for the degree of understatement this implies, would be tantamount to fluttery.
