Well don’t blame the National Guard stockpiling because they too may have foreseen you ABANDONING your current temporary dwellings…I hope your white flag is ready VP because I'd hate to harm you for fighting back...

VP - You've just offended 10,000s of Cypriots, of both communities, from all parts of the world. Please have the good sense to remove this word from your post above.

They were abandoned, if the GCs would have stayed in their h?mes and not fought back, do you think the TA would have killed them all? do you think the UN you trust so much would have aloud this? This is in your imagination, the TA would have restored order and left but the aggression it was met with meant they had to fight back with even more power to bring an end to TC suffering and threat.

What a load of bollocks VP. The experiences of my friends and relatives ( and hundreds of others ) in the enclaved villages of the Karpas in 75 and 76, after two years of hardship, torture (and worse) at the hands of the Turkish Army and its Piss Operation tells me and the rest of the world that you are either totally ignorant of these matters and the methods of the TA or you are talking shite.

You really believe that the TA could have wiped out all the GCs in front of the world?

Nothing was stolen it was abandoned which is a totally a different thing we did the same in south.

That's an interesting theory! I wonder which mastermind has been training you at wiping your dirty hands clean from all responsibility...

The same person that taught you to turn a blind eye when the same was imposed on TCs in 1963 and our rights were taken away.

I hardly think it was "imposed" on you. You could've REJECTED Turkey's treasonous suggestions to abandon the constitution and withdraw into enclaves but your TC leaders were looking for “heroic” adventure and look at you now…

Was this while our homes were being burned down or while our young men were going missing and buried alive by you.

This was when a handful of TC fools saw fit to take on four handfuls of GC fools on an island where the TCs were clearly outnumbered by 5 to 1! Great strategists your leaders weren’t they, unless of course they were counting on something else more sinister… how else can you “justify” their foolish bravado jeopardizing their families?

( Would members forgive me for being uncharacteristically angry on this one but I lost part of a crown whilst chewing on an crispy bit of souvla last week on mackenzie and now have to go off to the dentist to part with several hundred pounds to repair/replace. How can anyone outnumbered by 5 to 1 ever have the courage and stupidity to rise up to armed conflict against such a numerical majority UNLESS they had another card up their sleeve ha?

The Turkish Cypriots did indeed have another card up their sleeve only it turned out to be the Joker!
