R&S. I think you'll find the figure is nearer 92%. I'm pretty sure this figure includes lands held by the Church, traditionally a very large land owner in all parts of CY.

This may seem a little paradoxical to outsiders given the relative closeness of Turkey to the north but it is a part of the CY tragedy that the north had a disproportionate number of people of gr. ethnicity.

My understanding is that in general our northern siblings lived in the agricultural and south facing vine growing villages of some parts of the south and in parts of Nic and the other cities. Large northern villages like Lysi, Morphou, Akanthou, Agios Amvrosios, Lefkoniko, Rizokarpaso, Gerolakos, Zodia, Lapithos and many others ( no offence if I've missed anyone's old village out ) had exclusively gr populations, 100% of whom took refuge in the south. 90% of Kyrenia's (which was the most gr of CY's cities) inhabitants took similar refuge and of course the occupied part of Famagusta where 10,000's crossed a few short yards to the safety of the Eastern SBA in '74.

You must be getting on in the years because you sure come across pretty slow… it’s the non-authorized TRANSACTION itself that is illegal, REGARDLESS of the last owner’s origin.

You are right in saying that there are GB holders of pre-74 deeds or who are the legimate owners of a good deal of the north by virtue of legitimate inheritance. In the far flung Cy Diaspora that you will find this also applies to a great many nationals of other countries from the USA and Canada to South Afica and Australia.

That's hardly a proof at all.!!

I had the pleasure of watching transvestites performing at the Simon Cabaret in Phuket, and trust me, they had the best looking "melons" I've seen anywhere for a long time.

If you didn't know in advance, you will not be able to tell them apart from the "natural melons".

The proof of the pudding is in the eating ...

Some folks like organic despite not being the most attractive and some folks prefer synthetic and their faux-perfection ....

All I can say at the age of 49 is that they serve as useful buoyancy aids when I am swimming ...

Next time you are in Cyprus .... ...

Oracle,

I haven't forgotten this post. It's just that, I don't know how to answer it without getting myself into deep do-do with my girlfriend. For god sake, how does one answer these statements.
