People going broke!!

Postby JoJo » Thu May 22, 2008 7:23 pm

A lot of the people that I know are up to their ears in debt. Some are doing 3 jobs to stay afloat. Is s**t hitting the fan in Cyprus. Those dreaded credit cards! Same in OZ,UK.USA. The world has gone nuts. Spend today and not care about tomorrow attitude.

Well it is a great shame that the American way of life is contaminating Cypriot Zeitgeist

Family life will suffer and hence all the true Cypriot values.

Why can't people resist the hype ... and stick to a more meaningful way of life?

BTW does anyone know what patihase means?

yes, i owe money on a credit card, and yes, i am paying off a new car.... but this is the american way. i don't lose any sleep over it. and i don't have to work 3 jobs to keep afloat....
my special GC was working less hours in the USA and making the same kind of money he is in CY working 3 jobs. he thinks his life is easier there?!! the only easier thing is that it isn't as face paced as NY, but he had alot more free time in NY....
