Game: Famous Cypriots?

Postby Magnus » Thu May 22, 2008 5:52 pm

My friend reckons I can't name 20 famous Cypriots. Unfortunately, he's right. I'm up to three people so I need help. There are three rules:

1. They have to be famous outside Greece and Cyprus. No local celebrities.

2. It's OK if they're of Cypriot descent but live in other countries.

3. They can be famous in any field (music, literature, sport etc) but you have to say why they are famous.

This is what I have so far:

1. George Michael - famous for being a pop singer, crap dancing and doing naughty things with other gentlemen in public toilets.

2. Cat Stevens - famous for being a 70s folk singer and converting to Islam. Now called Yusuf Islam.

3. Peter Andre - Australian Cypriot, famous for being a former pop singer and now being married to a woman with huge breast implants.

5. Antony Costa - boybander (Blue)
6. Kristian Leontiou - pop singer

They're still acceptable because they have 'Cypriot descent'. :D
